【Portugal】Korean food from Korean in Lisbon—Soju Pocha (소주포차)
Since I found out about this Korean-owned Korean cuisine restaurant, it’s been hard to go back to Chinese-owned Korean cuisine restaurants.
It’s hidden in the Bairro Alto bar area of Lisbon, and if you don’t make a reservation or arrive early, you won’t be able to get a table.
The restaurant’s decor is a blend of Korean retro and bar vibes, with K-pop playing and many Koreans gathering for meals. It feels so familiar to hear Korean language due to my love for Korean dramas <( ̄︶ ̄)>
It’s also a restaurant that I’ve lost count of how many times I’ve been to, and I’ve tried every dish on the menu!
Reason
- Owned by Korean
- Fair price
- Suitable for eat and chat
- Rare in Lisbon
I highly recommend their Korean Style Chichen、Soondubu Jjigae and Korean cocktail Soju+Strawberry Ice Cream
Important information
Last time, the six of us went to eat without a reservation.
When we walked in, the place was empty, but they said they were fully booked.
When we asked, we found out that all the bookings were for 9 pm. We explained that it was only 7:30 pm and we could finish before 9 pm.
They let us sit down and eat, and we made sure to stick to our promise and not delay them. o(≧v≦)o
